LARGO, FL, December 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The NCFA is proud to welcome Sean Morrissey, CEO of Katana Forensics, Inc., and creator of Lantern as the instructor for our January iPhone Investigations course. Mr. Morrisey has both a military and law enforcement background, and is the author of iOS Forensic Analysis and Lead Author of Mac OS X, iPod and iPhone Forensic Analysis.
This course will give the student the foundation necessary to conduct analysis of any Apple Mobile Device. It will cover the iOS architecture to include hardware and operating system. From incident response to completing the exam, the student will manually, and with the aid of the automated tools Lantern 2.0 and Lantern Lite, parse and report artifacts.
The course topics will include iDevice Basics, incident response, logical extraction, forensic analysis, operation of Lantern 2.0, physical extraction, manual examination, and reporting. The cost of the course is $1,100 with discounts offered for those who qualify.
